Privacy Policy
Who we are
Datalund publishes free Power BI visuals and operates datalund.no. Contact: support@datalund.no. This notice covers both the visuals and the website, under the EU GDPR and Norwegian personal data law (including the Personal Data Act).
What the visual uses
- Only the fields you bind in the report (tasks, dates, progress, groups, and so on).
- Everything renders locally in Power BI Desktop or the service.
- No outbound network calls.
- No cookies, ads, analytics, or third-party trackers inside the visual.
Permissions
DataLund Gantt chart asks for no network or storage access, so it cannot reach the internet from the visual.
This website — analytics
We want to know how many people visit datalund.no and how often the Gantt visual (and sample file) is downloaded. Analytics run only if you accept the banner (opt-in). You can change your mind anytime via Analytics preferences.
- Tool: Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly, no cookies for measurement).
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- What we measure: page views (URL, referrer, browser/OS aggregated) and download events (which file was clicked).
- What we do not do: advertising, cross-site tracking, selling data, building personal profiles, or fingerprinting.
- Consent storage: your Accept/Decline choice is stored in
localStorageon your device so we remember it. That storage is used only for consent. - Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track: if your browser sends these signals, we treat that as Decline and do not load analytics.
- Processor: Plausible Insights OÜ (EU). See their data policy.
- Retention: aggregated stats are kept according to our Plausible site settings (typically up to 24 months for trends).
If you decline, the site works the same; we simply do not count your visit or downloads.
Hosting and email
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Hosting providers may process technical logs (such as IP address, user agent, and time) for security and uptime under legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Email to support@datalund.no is used only to reply to you. We do not sell contact info.
Your rights
Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier lawful processing). You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or your local EU/EEA supervisory authority.
Because our analytics are aggregated and cookieless, we usually cannot identify a single visitor in the stats. Use Analytics preferences to withdraw website analytics consent on this device.
